Tentative Schedule

Riders will be transitioned to ConnectCard in several phases. Port Authority will not begin a new phase until the prior phase was completed successfully.* Phases include:

• University of Pittsburgh students, faculty and staff began using their university-issued smart cards in August 2011.

• Annual Pass customers will receive a ConnectCard upon renewing their next subscription starting in March 2012.

• Monthly pass, weekly pass, ticket and cash customers will receive ConnectCards later, following the successful completion of a pilot program.
•  
• ConnectCards will be distributed to participants in social service programs, Job Perks and other school and university programs.
